Barbara Gordon

Barbara Gordon (Prime Earth)		Barbara Gordon ist eine Superheldin, die zu den Mitgliedern der Batman Familie zählt und die Tochter von Policecommissioner James Gordon ist. Zu Anfang ihrer Karriere als Batgirl arbeitete sie Seite an Seite mit Batman und Robin. Sie ist eine hervorragende Kämpferin und höchst intelligent. Als sie eines Tages durch den Joker schwer verletzt wurde, war sie von der Hüfte an Querschnittsgelähmt und wurde zu Oracle um ihren Freunden auch weiterhin helfen zu können. Sie baute ein wahres Netzwerk für die Helden der Welt auf und mimte sogar den Mentor für zwei andere Batgirls, Cassandra Cain und Stephanie Brown. Nach einem Reboot des DC Universums konnte Barbara wieder laufen und wurde erneut zu Batgirl. Sie ist ein Gründungsmitglied der Birds of Prey, arbeitete aber auch mit der Justice League of America, dem Suicide Squad und den Seven Soldiers of Victory zusammen. Barbara Gordon wurde von Julius Schwartz, Gardner Fox und Carmine Infantino kreiert und war zum ersten Mal in Detective Comics #359 (1967) zu sehen.
