- Neither of those names make sense. Firstly, the shows aren't their origins, the shows chronicle their adventures as solo heroes. We don't even know if a Justice League incarnation will see the light in the "Arrowverse".
- Secondly, you kinda contradicted yourself. How you said that the Flash is introducing Metahumans, yet you also said the show resembles real life as it doesn't have any super powered characters. The Flash himself is a super powered character.
- Third of all, yes Smallville was Clark Kent before he was the hero known as Superman. That was an actual pre-origin story, the same with Gotham. Arrow and The Flash on the other hand don't have the "no tights, no flight" rule.
- It's not real life just because it has realistic situations pertaining to how the characters receive their powers.
- And neither Arrow nor The Flash are origin stories persay.
Which are some of the reasons that neither of those names would work. Other than that, the names are clunky, and wouldn't work well with Search Engine Optimization.
Technically they are origin stories. We see How Barry Allen got his powers and we are going to see how he becomes The Flash. Same with Oliver Queen. It chronicles their solo careers but also shows the beginning of their adventures.
Let me explain that better. Arrow and Flash don't have any aliens, unexplainable super powered people. Everything can be explained by ways of science or medical testing. Mirakuru is a serum that gives people enhances abilities and the Particle Accelerator gave people powers. Yes The Flash is a super powered character but we know how he got his powers instead of having him already with super speed unexplainably.
It's real life as in no magic, no aliens. Everything is Earth centric.
Still, I agree with you on the names. I was just brainstorming different options than calling it CW or Arrow/Flash.
