Why wouldn't we?

<p>Two of them have only appeard once or twice in an adaptation (so, there is a lack of appearances). There also doesn't seem to be anything to indicate that they're a seperate team from the Meteors, rather than just the team that've had their name changed for the adaptation. Meaning we'd be dealing with the same situation as with LuthorCorp and L-Corp on <i>Smallville</i> and <i>Supergirl</i>. The company might be called something else, but is still their version of LexCorp. </p>

<p>There doesn't seem to be anything to indicate that either. Or that they're adaptations of the Giants. Or the Metros. </p><p>Sports teams are treated with very little consistency, to the point that they have to be treated as separate teams. If you look at a comparable city like New York, there are several clubs in the highest level of the Big Four, and even more in the lower leagues. </p><p>Whereas, on the other hand, there's only one Lex Luthor-run company. </p>
