Villains should not get their own movies.

The most humane Batman villain? What about all the people he killed.

If you mean the most human Batman villain then yes I agree.

Villains should get there own movies… just not this one. Now a short may do him very well, but a feature film? Not a good idea because that story can't hold for that long. I mean is he going on a quest to find the ingredients to the freeze chamber that saves Nora? It sounds too serious and complex already. In comics maybe that story works, but on a big screen, trouble is afoot.

The problem with giving villains movies is that people keep making them half good when they aren't. There are ways to make likable protagonist without that. You just have to make them interesting enough. And sometimes they get a little too complex with things they don't know how to handle yet. Something simple like how Penguin built his empire or a Rogues heist movie would probably work. But if we start making a Trigon or even a Ra's Al Ghul movie it'll be surgery with shards of glass. Don't change them and don't overthink it, those are the keys.

I hear a few Marvel characters who don't have solo films might be getting their own miniseries on the new Disney streaming service. Maybe DC can do that as well?

What about slasher movies, they're all about the villain.

What is coming up as far as DC villain films go? Black Adam. Joker. They might work out, depending on the take on the character, but i have my doubts.

There are a few good villain films - Clockwork Orange; Goodfellas - proving that it can be done. Who would the villain have to be? Someone awesome, complicated and funny. I would love to see a Lex Luthor film; a Darkseid film or my personal favorite - a film about Bizarro and Bizarro world.

Humane is debatable, but Freeze is definitely most tragic villain in Gotham, and quite possibly DC.

My favourite villain movie is Eating Raoul. A black comedy where a bland couple struggle by living a moral life and turn to crime to achieve their dream.
