Starfire has to be one of my favorite female DC characters. Batwoman is another exception. What is your number one favorite DC Heroine? Any character!
I have to admit that I like his Black Canary (not in that picture) and his Hawkgirl.
Barbara Gordon and Helena Bertinelli.
Personally, I thought the whole plot with Vixen losing her animal powers and leeching off supers instead all because of Anansi was just plain crap. I haven’t read much McDuffie, but he is widely regarded. I can certainly see why in his storyline in The Demon, so his JLoA run must just be one of those off periods, because it was arguably the worst in that whole volume.
My favorite heroine is probably Jessica Cruz, although Mera is a close second. Mera wins for pure badassery, but Jess is a more inspirational and relatable character.
Sorry to hear that. You should check this out if you are interested. cbr.com/254216-2
Just skip to Lead On Mcduffie. He speaks very candidly on DC and them impeding his Justice League book. He even reveals that Anansi was an allegory for his frustrations with the book. Constant event books kept ruining his plans for the series. Really all this is what led him be getting fired. Some things you just don't speak about I guess.
To be fair, Blackest Night and Brightest Day were amazing and I would take them over his run any day.
What I've read of Blackest Night it was really good to be honest. Johns is amazing.
Everything he touches turns to gold. I don't think he's ever written a bad story.
I want him to do a Wonder Woman book or a new Power Girl series. A 6 issue mini. I realize how good Johns was when I realize he wrote countdown to infinite and Infinite Crisis. No one has been able to top his work. He let me down with Darkseid War, but that was still a fun ride. He is your go-to for team books.
Supergirl aka my favorite character in general
