<p>You could say that about all the characters in JL.</p>
<p>Eh, true. But Aquaman had the least stake in it. Flash, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman had bigger roles than him. Batman and Superman are mandatory.</p>

Honestly, though I haven't seen it yet, I already feel like having The Trench, Ocean Master, and Black Manta in a movie is cluttered enough.

Dead King seems to be in it, yeah. Is it Lundgren playing him? If the movie's 3 hours long maybe it'll work.
<p>Batman was only mandatory for sales. After watching the film I posted a review explaining how the film could have been improved by removing Superman from the film entirely. Simply by excising the deus ex machina of Superman the film would have allowed all the other characters to fill functions he monopolised, Cyborg especially.</p>
