Apart from the one appearance, I think y’all would have little chance if I chose Sapphire Mason (Earth-16) - better known as Megamorpho.

But yes, they would come up when the ‘given name’ narrowed it down, but how do we come up with Earth-16? She appears after Flashpoint, but not strictly in Prime Earth continuity.

Is Wildstorm off-limits for these things?

I'd assume not.

I've thought of doing one of those characters before just to get people looking at that part of the wiki, but I fear their superhero universe is so much smaller the questions would narrow it down almost too easily.

People have to find that corner of the wiki first. But yes, we’ve made suggestions but there’s no rules apart from them being in the database.

In general i’ve suggested something like:

• At least 30 appearances in total (or 10 in Prime Earth/ after Flashpoint)

• appearing in more than one DC title

• choosing a character that exists in main continuity has been a courtesy. But I wouldn’t mandate it.

• choose a chatacter whose wiki pages are correct (I broke this rule with my first guy)

It'd be harder even for me, too, in that most of my Wildstorm reading is either WildC.A.T.s or related characters (I do count Gen 13 as "related" as I.O. is involved heavily in both titles). I'd have a hard time answering a detailed inquiry about Marc Slayton, for instance.

An obvious one would be Grifter. His PE character appears in 10 different DC titles. Certainly fair game!

For sure. Cole Cash did seem to be the WS character DC was most committed to.

I don't think he is. He's not mainstream enough, unlike Red Hood or even Vigilante. But why would we even have one of those? DC would never stoop so low…
