I’m thinking a character that existed in another universe before COIE and wasn’t merged into NE until later. Maybe even after Infinite Crisis. So their NE entry would be under their old universe. For example, check out the Mime from Doomsday. His universe is (Watchmen) although his is in PE continuity right now.

New Earth? That's where things get tricky. I've seen Pre and Post Crisis in Time legion members, villains, etc. go back into the present New Earth and Earth One. Because they don't need a multiverse jump, only the means to time travel, it pretty much says they're still in New Earth. I believe I've even seen the words New Earth used in an LOS issue.

And finally the clue? I thought some of you may focus on the artist and not the song, think the answer was associated with hammers in some way which is why I didn't want you to take it the wrong way.
