While the poem was very endearing and bittersweet, it doesn't change the fact that I despise this character and everything that she stands for! If I'm being honest, I hope Felicity dies so we never have to see Emily forcing herself to cry over stupid issues that can easily be solved if the characters actually thought about the problem instead of moping around and brooding.

If you're not familiar with how Felicity negatively affects the show...
She mopes and whines over the smallest thing and forcibly shoves drama into every crack and corner of this show. She's a plot device the writers use to appeal to the group of hormone fueled teenage girls who only watch this show for the drama. Not to mention her hacking skills are pretty much magic.

Teenage girls are the target demographic of the CW as a whole. So no, I'm not. The target demographic being teenage girls usually isn't a problem. However, it gets to be an issue when the target demographic slips into the minority of people watching the show.

No, it’s young people (14-25) and females (pretty much all of them except maybe conservative elderly ones). This means you’re in part of the demographic but the appeals to the other parts of it is enough to hurt you. It’s like they serve steak with asparagus, no substitutions and you have to eat it all or go hungry.
