Achievement unlocked: Today, I finished paying off Adventure 260, also know as the first appearance of Tom Curry and Atlanna, and Aquaman's Silver Age origin. I'm excited to finally own this as an Aquaman collector, though it isn't in perfect condition. In all honesty, I hope ALL of you find your comic holy grail eventually, it's a nice feeling! Many scenes from the movie, particularly the aquarium scene, were taken from this work (drawn by the inimitable Ramona Fradon, of course!). Not much to discuss, I suppose, but I'm excited and didn't know where else to take it!

$200. It's not in amazing condition, but it's not too bad, either, for an issue from the 60s. The edges of the cover are pretty worn as you can see in this shot, but the interior still looks pretty decent. I may have it professionally graded eventually, but for now I'm just happy to own it!

Fortunately, my LCS owner allows me to do layaway, and he set it aside for me (knowing my taste in comics) as soon as it came into his posession. I paid $20/wk above my normal pull price for 10 weeks, and today got to take it home.

@Grimm yes. I'm sure it will be a couple hundred dollars(at the very least), but knowing me I'll probably spend a bit more just for a better condition. Maybe get a grade on it as well.
