I have to admit, I'm really excited for all of this. Though I was initially wary of Bendis helming the Legion, I can tell that he actually cares for them after reading this interview. But, time will tell exactly howuch he cares for them.
Ryan Sook is an excellent choice for art. I'm not *that* familiar with his work, but the little I've seen is promising. He seems to have a wide range, so hopefully he'll be able to figure out what works best for the Legion.
Millennium, the event leading up to the regular series, sounds equally exciting. Though it will most certainly jostle continuity quite a bit (Batman Beyond and Kamandi existing in the same timeline as Prime Earth?!?), it'll be interesting to see how Bendis makes it all fit.
It seems as though the protagonist for Millennium, though she remains unnamed in the interview, is Naomi from Bendis' Wonder Comics series. I haven't read any of her series, but I've heard good things about it. Plus, didn't it just get an extension to 12 issues?
The concept art for the Legion is.... interesting, to say the least. I'm not that fond of Cos' look, I can get used to it (if I have to). I actually really like the others' suits, though.
Back to continuity, it seems as though this will be a completely new Legion, not one of the main three we're all so (un)familiar with. Bendis mentions a different origin, and uses a lot of language that hints at his Legion "being different" from all the rest. I can appreciate all of this. We've been without a Legion since the beginning-ish of the New 52, so it makes sense to introduce a new one as opposed to dragging an old one out of the void.
I'll shut up now, but just so you all now, I'm still grinning ear to ear and probably won't stop for several days.
(And yes, I'm aware of all the issues this will create for wiki classification. Frankly, I don't care anymore.)
