DC tried putting out a whole new line of new characters, but all of them have been cancelled because not enough people were reading them. The main reason Naomi has gotten so popular is most likely attributed to Brian Micheal Bendis being attached to the project.
<p>ok, maybe with today's on going community more people wants new characters, so that some fans can stop complaining of wanting new characters and along with getting more new characters that can be an representation of people of color and I think maybe Brain Michael Bendis and other amazing writers like him that fans like should get the chance to write new characters.</p>

<p>They do this all the time. They've done it since the beginning. They'll continue to do it. Some are a success, others are forgotten as soon as their title ends and killed in the next big event.</p>

<p>I enjoy new characters but find it difficult to continue interest if they never interact with any other more well-known characters. Speaking of that initiative, Sideways was a character I was sad to see go and I was surprised to see him in a confessional at the end of HiC but honestly who wasn't in that issue?</p><p>

Sideways has potential to be his own character. I see a future in him. Especially if he joins the Teen Titans
<p>Doc, possibly, but as Tupka said, I have a bad feeling he might die and besides I think the Teen Titans is DCs top superhero team in number of deaths.</p>
Sideways was well-written and worked. Damage was Venditti making the most of a very limited premise.
And yes, Silencer was amazing and I'll miss it.
