Ben Affleck stared in three DCEU films: Batman v superman, suicide squad (barely) and justice league. they were all, in my opinion, pretty mediocre films. in early 2019, affleck said that he is done with batman. a few months later, mate reeves confirmed that robert pattinson was casted for the 2021 film “the batman”.

Ya I don't remember Clooney being batman. I remember him as some other guy, "Nippleman" i think? And a 27 year old Chris O'Donnell was his brand new sidekick "The Man Wonder".
