Well obviously I’m more than excited 🤗. She’s in another series, I feel like this could develop a friendship with Wonder Woman, and I feel like it’ll make her kooler in some ways! And, considering how upset Z was last issue (even though she’s been straight up to this point) might have a case of the ol ‘want what you can’t haves’.
Now I don’t know if this is canon, but I’ve heard some things that tie her to the book of crime, which sound like it has some mystical stuff tied to it. I’m not sayin, I’m just sayin.
I know this sounds a bit out there, but what if Kate is a vampire exclusively for this series!? I mean if Beast Boy could be a monster just for Titans, why not? It sounds pretty awesome and it adds a goal for her: wanting to be human again.
It does make it seem like we don’t need someone though… like Kirk or maybe Detective Chimp who has an excuse not to be on the team since he now owns not only The Oblivion Bar but, for lack of better word, another dimension too. That and the fact that why does EVERY team have to have a batfamily member? Is it an addition to his suffocation of us, or a side effect? And if we have to do it, can I switch? Azrael seems way more for this team and you pretty much take all my money forever if Kate joins JLO.
All that being said, I think her joining the team had a mysterious potential for her magic ties, and it should add spark to the series.
