Comic suggestions?

So I've been looking for some more comics to read and I'm having trouble finding some so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions. I mainly read batman or suicide squad but I'm really trying too get into more of the DC universe so I'm really down to read anything. I've also been trying to get into teen titans but idk were to start but yeah anything DC works I don't care if its from another earth or universe like wildstorm vertigo etc as long as its DC.

But when u say more into the DCU, do u mean like just series or crossovers and major events?

Ok. You know that i’m Mr Multiverse, so you can take or leave my suggestions depending on how confused you want to be. I think you’d said that you prefer the ‘Mystery Theatre’ Sandman to Lord Morpheus, so maybe not ‘The Sandman’ volume 2. How about Volume 1? By Simon and Kirby?

For the Flash, Final Crisis has Barry Allen’s return, followed by the awesome “Flash: Rebirth”. The best part of that series for me was Final Crisis: Superman Beyond; FC: Revelations, and FC: Escape. The Flash also plays heavily in the classic Crisis on Infinite Earths.

A few suggestions:

Gerard Way and Nick Derrington’s “Doom Patrol”.

Tom King “Mister Miracle”

Morrison “All-Star Superman”

The Classic: “Tales of the Green Lantern Corps”

Action Comics 890-899 (Reprinted as “The Black Ring”) Starring Lex Luthor. He outsmarts Death of the Endless. Not joking.

For Flash I suggest the Mark Waid run. It's not Barry, but I feel like you will like Wally just as much, if not more if you do already prefer Barry.

For Supergirl I suggest Silver Age if you are into that sort of thing. You can also try reading Superman/Batman: Supergirl by Jeph Loeb which was the official return of Kara after almost 20 years after killing her off in COIE. Then you can read volume 5 of Supergirl which was her new solo series after Kara's return in Superman/Batman. The first 20-30 issues are mediocre at best, but as soon as you hit Gates' run you will get completely invested. I also might suggest reading the Peter David run. It's not Kara, instead it's Linda Danvers. The first, like, 20 issues are pretty good, but after that it's down hill from there. The Earth Angel BS is what really killed the run. I haven't read his run in full but I hear that Many Happy Returns was a great return for the book... Before it got cancelled immediately afterwards.

For most when people think of N52 Supergirl they think of the gates of hell opening up and dragging the human race into the burning abyss. Overexageration, I know, but regardless I actually like vol 6. Sure, I've read better, but I still like it, and you might too.

If you are into non-canon, severe origin changing books you might like Supergirl: Being Super, and while I liked the idea of it, the execution was awful imo.

Vol 7(the current run) will start of good, and by issue 10 you might notice a slip in quality, and after issue 20 you will probably get pissed off like a lot of Supergirl fans did for once again taking away character development, but hey, maybe you can still give it a shot.

It's a longshot I'm sure, but if you happen to live in the Toronto area, BMV spadina has the Geoff Johns JSA omnibus vol 2 for only 69.99. Includes 55 issues of some of the greatest comics of the modern age.

If you don't, and you probably don't, I would still recommend it at any price. It is outstanding, and VOL 2 is the best of the 3 imho. And you can read it without VOL 1, but I guarantee you will go back and buy the first.
