Is the Young Animal (2016) Doom Patrol series a good place to jump on for someone new to the Patrol? Looking for a good (and easy) way to jump into the group.

I thought it was a good enough jumping on point. I started with that and Milk Wars. Since then I’ve read the first volume of Morrison’s run and watched the DCU show. Those did a better job at introducing some of the characters, but I was still able to follow and enjoy the run regardless.
