But just you wait, DC has been collecting old Batman tales into omnibus forms. So they started the Golden Age omnibuses a few years ago, and they’ve been continually putting out new ones. They are fairly close to finishing collecting the Golden Age stuff. After they’re finished, I would wager they’ll work to collect and put out Silver Age Omnibuses. That’s what I’m looking forward to. I’m collecting Dick Grayson appearances starting with Silver Age onward, and since he appeared in so many Batman and Detective Comics issues, the SA Batman omnibuses should collect a good many of his appearances.

I shall note that to keep in mind while reading through the SA stories so that I know which eras are more interesting as a whole. But given that I’m mostly getting them for collector’s sake, having complete collections (even if many issues are nonsensical) appeals to me.
