If it was pre-Flashpoint; the answer might just be ‘zombie’. If someone was dead too long, they would come back wrong. Ra’s threatened this with the bodies of the Waynes.

Post-Flashpoint; hey, Tupka called it. What’s a lazarus pit now? Dionysium? And now that it’s a divine metal (it was a chemical compound in NE) I second the call that Snyder would make it do whatever he wants. Even Tom King was going to bring back Martha Wayne’s long dead corpse in Batman #74.

Tom Taylor seems pretty good about deaths in his stuff being pretty permanent. After issue 4, I don’t see him using anything like that. Taylor likes to just kill as many heroes as possible lol

No one’s coming back is Dceased, are they?

Cyborg doesn’t seem to think they’re able to be saved/come back, and he’s the point of origin for the virus. I’m sure we’ll get more details in the next couple issues.
