Well Hals becoming a Darkstar now, and Guy is cool, but hes not exactly the best GL. He was better as a Red Lantern. Kyles just my fav GL especially since he was the only GL at one point, and I read a lot of those comics. I dont like John that much, but hes the only one willing to make the tough choices when it counts. I really dont care about Baz or Cruz. Although, I could see Baz as a vigilante...

Just curious, how much have you read of Simon or Jess, Another? From what I’ve gathered, Jess is one of the few breakout characters from the last few years. Not many new characters get as much love and traction as she has gotten in such a short amount of time. I imagine her popularity comes from somewhere. I think Grimm here loves Jess because of the richness of her characterization. She has a lot of depth, apparently. And very few characters struggle with the emotional issues she does and overcomes them like she does—so I understand the appeal, even though I have personally read little of her. It seems like she’s becoming a role model. She’s even being used in multiple media adaptations.

N8, i read like all of N52 JL, so seeing her as Power Ring and then turn into a GL was pretty good. I mean yeah she wass trying to overcome ptsd, which was one part of her character I liked. But then the rebirth GL series potrayed her and Baz like they were unable to even use their rings right and the series was bad overall so I cant say I really got attached to her character

I've heard some rumors that Jessica Cruz is not really dead, there's a chance she may have either escaped Darkseid's omega-beams or is transported somewhere in time (like Batman)!

I see it as, in so many big events someone important dies. She is that someone! Plus her death signifies the return of Darkseid to his more powerful form. I’m not saying by any means is this permanent, but I do think she’s dead for the rest of the year at least, I’m thinking it’s more like at least 3-5 years.

Also there’s sooooooooo many good candidates to replace her as a member. And the arc is technically over so this would be the time to do it. Present Phantom Girl, bringing back any L.E.G.I.O.N members to PE, Adam Strange, either Steel, Blue Beetle, Star Sapphire, and/or Miss Martian just to name a few! Hell, even Lobo has a shot (he was on JLA remember). If that’s the thing keeping her alive then the editors aren’t thinking hard enough.

Oh no, she’s dead. This is gonna have to be some reincarnation or time travel stuff. There wasn’t even a corps. She was (is?) nothing but burning ash. Even worse her team was controlled so they might not even get the ‘body’, though missing bodies do work in favor of the comeback. I wonder what happens if you put that in the Lazarus pit though 🤔? Does it have to be a full body, anyone know?

Well, naturally there are a number of alien or space-venturing heroes who could join the team. I’ve long-since wanted both Adam Strange and Captain Comet on the team. But I do think Jess was a big reason a number of people pulled the title in the first place.

I mean this isnt that big of an event but u have a point. And no. A misconception about the Lazurus Pit is that it makes u unkillable. It doesnt. The pit only works on ppl still alive or freshly dead. And takes them to their peak potential, so like Ras, everytime hes old, he gies to the pit and returns younger and stronger again. If u get injured it fixed those wounds, and if someone is dead from their wounds and their body hasnt decayed, they can be resurrected. This has limits like if they lost their head or like Jessica were reduced to ashes. If they have been dead for a while or dimembered, only the Nain Pit can bring them back. Which even Ras doesnt use cus it could have serious consequences.

Oh **Spoiler Alert** Jessica lives. She’s leading the team in the solicit released yesterday for issue #15. So, I guess the matter is settled.
