When we’ve given Jonny the advantage of ‘infinite questions’ before (no limits on the number or timing) it didn’t actually affect the game that much, because everyone still gets the answers at the same time. He doesn’t actually gain any more information than anyone else.

I’ve done my bit, and await the next round, whatever the decish. Because play bogged down a bit around round XL; we brainstormed on making things more interesting, so hey; keep things interesting.

Please do budday. Whatever the host sets out as the rules are generally the rules.

For anyone else looking to host in future, if writing your own guidelines seems onerous; there are guidelines set out by N8, Jonny, and myself which can be reposted. Or just post a link to TFF2!’s soon-to-come OP for the next game.

Whatever rules we play by, the most important part is to choose a character that is not too obscure (alternate Earths, Gods, Devils or enigmas are all good) and to do a bit of research in preparation. First appearance. Given name(s). Aliases. Affiliations. Alignment(s) Powers. Technology. Rogue’s Gallery. Even hair colour. ‘Maybe’s are important.

There have been questions like:

“Do they own a corporation?”

“Have they starred in a mini-series?”

“Do they play a musical instrument?”

And always, always double-check that all their continuities are entered in the database. There are a number of characters (From The Sandman, for example) whose newer entries are incomplete. For example, we’ve frowned upon using characters with PE appearances that do not yet have a PE page.
