I've been wanting to read the series for a while, but I'm not a fan of massive omnibus collections, since I find reading them pretty annoying due to their size. Luckily a bookstore I often frequent has all the singles (#1-25) on sale for 40€ total. I'm just wondering if that's too much to pay.

Simonson's run has also been collected in 2 big volumes. Book 1 has 325 pages, Book 2 384 pages. Book 1 also collects some additional material, you can check it out yourself if you want:

I buy most of my trades from this website, but be sure to check out other sites for discounts before you buy/if you decide to buy the 2 volumes. Regarding the floppy's, €40 for 25 issues sounds like a good deal to me.
