I was hesitant when i first heard about the t.v. show because the graphic novel was my favorite book and while the movie was entertaining it didn't compare but every episode has gotten better and better. Really excited to see where it goes from here
Aha! Thanks. I’m still a 🦕 that prefers the DC wiki app on mobile, so I don’t see such things. The OP doesn’t need a spoiler warning anyway - I didn’t know what they were spoiling.
Episode 3, I was admiring Laurie’s Pop-Art image of the Watchmen. Of course on Earth-😊, Andy Warhol would have been pre-occupied with Superheroes and villains as much as he was car crashes and soup cans. The poster was a nice touch that didn’t need explanation in the show - and I want one!
Hey, maybe on Earth-😊, Lili Taylor 🤪 would have been stopped by one of the Watchmen before she shot Andy Warhol. It was in 1968, way before the Keene act. Maybe Rorschach?
“Rorschach’s journal. June 2 1968. Met artist Andy Warhol. Doesn’t use comb. Paints soup cans. Possibly hungry. Must investigate further.”
Sorry for the unrelated topic that I'm about to bring up...
I'd like to inquire, what's wrong with the question, "League of Assassins vs the Court of Owls"?
Are VS questions not allowed anymore?
Thank you.
Where can I find the guidelines?
Thank you very much
Oh okay
It says 1v1 battles only.
I think I understand my error.
Thanks again.
Any more Watchmen talk?
I’m still not sure about the show. It’s either really good or really bad and I can’t tell yet. Depends on where it goes. I am looking forward to watching the next episode. Imagine watching the new Watchmen, but subtract the repeated lines from the original Watchmen - then decide if it’s good.
Watchmen needn’t even be under the banner of ‘Watchmen’. It does seem disconnected enough that subtracting all references to the Watchmen would still leave a whole show. This is why I say, subtract all repeated lines from the original, and then decide if it’s a good show.
The incidental music is awesome. Go Trent and Atticus.
Psychologists still are fighting to put their name on my problems. It doesn’t change my feeling about the show.
