The other day, I was reading up on the Batman and decided to read up more on the 89s movie. I then saw that Tom Selleck had been considered for the main role.
Apparently he declined because he was still busy with Magnum at the time, and also because of the 66 Batman image. Apparently he couldn't see himself play Batman because of how silly Batman had been portrayed previously.
Now, when I look at Tom Selleck I actually do see a TDKR Bruce, especially with his famous mustache, but I've noticed some other people likening his mustache look to James Gordon's.
Had Tom Selleck taking up the role, how well do you think he would've done? Could his portrayal have possibly impacted fans of Batman and the rest of the viewers, and would he have in anyway maybe changed comic books?
