While I like the Apocalypse Darkseid a lot, the DCAMU is just more terrifying. He just seems stronger, scarier, thinks more globally, or world conquering, and not just going after Superman more invincible (if that makes any sense). His voice also, especially in “War” was just bone chilling.

I just think he's too overrated now, and he was really easy to beat in War (or Origin)

I'm biased in this, but the Darkseid in the animated Superman series was far more frightening. Pushing Superman to even his limits

@Fatebuoy yeah I have to admit, it was great seeing Superman and Darkseid go at it in the animated Superman show and the JL shows. My favorite line out of all of them is in the last episode of JLU when Superman tells Darkseid, “But you can take it, can’t you big man. It’s time to show you how powerful I really am.”

I like the DCAMU and the injustice 2 (For better animation).

Yeah teh DCAU one is a classic. Hed beat down Supes and take over Metropolis. He killed Dan Turpin when he first came to earth. He even had a higher kill count, massacring all those villains

It took me a long time to like Andre Braugher in Apocalypse. I guess I'm just too used to Michael Ironside.

I don't like any of them, none of them are special or terrifying.
