In the Green Lantern film, it said that the ring acts as a knowledge base. Does it include the map of the whole universe?

It would be quite useful to have that as a feature seeing as Green Lanterns are basically space cops.
Well. If the universe is always expanding, the ring would expand in it's knowledge as well
So, no and yes. The ring would have a map of all known corners of the universe
I assumed you've been upvoting and partaking in recent dicussions
Please to meet ya!
I was going to say you should have a profile picture if you're staying a bit
Not a map of the whole Universe but it does have an Universal Encyclopedia that includes maps. The mapping of the ring is as expansive as it's universal translator. It contains a lot of information but not all, for example, the ring could not translate the language spoken by the Indigo Tribe nor the language of a race whose name I can't remember that Katma Tui encountered.
So does it mean if another human becomes a green lantern for 2814, another human lantern doesn't need to show them around the sector?
@Fatebuoy nice to see you here too, funny how you always see the same 5 or 6 people on these forums.
Yeah...
There have been guests, of course, along the way. They're always entertaining for the most part
Well I guess I found my answer...
What do you think?
