The suit with nothing on his legs shows Batman’s a pervert.
Joking 😂
He shows that Batman isn't a cold-blooded merciless vigilante.
Batman is human too
He was the first teen sidekick, which led to more young proteges, which led to the Teen Titans, which expanded and evolved well beyond containing members who were proteges.
@Blackjesus459 why did you tag Superman and Lucifer Morningstar?
Lucifer is my favorite thing about Robin.
@Spaztacular people just add the suggested tags. Because they can't read or don't want to.
Honestly I like it more when they all grow up, but to generalize all the Robins, they kinda act as a moral and human compass/anchor for Batman.
His enthusiasm to work with batman.
They keep Batman young. Most of my friend group at the moment is roughly a decade younger than me. I don’t think I need a psychiatrist at this point to realise I have a Peter Pan Complex. I feel Batman’s Drive is anchored to his childhood, but to unhealthy trauma. The Robins force him to be a protective, responsible adult (to a degree within the outrageous comic parameters) but also allow him to have some childlike fun through them.
He projects his guilt of not being able to defend his parents on to the Robins, training them into the boy he wishes he was back them, but each Robin influences Batman with their individual personalities, slowly softening him into a more human man. Hopefully one who will find peace later in life.
Robin represents hope and determination. I wish DC would remember that more often.
