Lil’ Lobo simply laid one on her. He was the type of character who would do something slapstick like that. It’s not like it was a romantic kiss in any way whatsoever. He just likes being spontaneous. Impulsive characters often do that sort of thing. Bart Allen did it his first appearance as Impulse, laying one on a random girl as he and Wally ran past. Lil’ Lobo does join Young Justice, though, and forms a semi-romantic relationship with Empress.

And yeah, I don't find it uncharacteristic for Lobo randomly kissing a pretty lady. It was just surprising that it was a superhero is all. A hot one for that matter

I agree that it's in character for Lobo but the fact that it was Bette (who I love) just weirded me out.

The fling she had with Hawk (Hank Hall) impacted me more greatly than the Lobo smooch, haha. I think the weird part for the Lil’ Lobo thing would be that he was a teenager at the time, and she was about 23 or so.
