Yeah, the plot was all over the place and it just felt like he was throwing in as many characters as possible. Plus only like Jinny and Teen Lantern were developed imo. Tim and Bart went backwards lol. Conners kid and wife wrre then pretty much forgotten.

My only problem was that Barts time travel thing didn't make 100% sense in comparsion with how he came back in the flash run. It makes sense to me, but it took me a little time to think it through.

Bendis' Superman and Action Comics run were okay. I think most people can agree his stories are hit or miss (Event Leviathan was definitely a miss for me)

Some story choices I didn't like, but I am interested in what Bendis has to bring to the Justice League mythos

As for Joker, @Anotherbatmanfan , I don't think he was used a whole lot in New 52 and Rebirth 😅. I say he's in full swing now with Infinite Frontier. And rightfully so too. He is quite a popular character, I don't think that can be denied

Yeah, I suppose it's how you see it. I personally didn't see a lot of Joker. I didn't read his time in Scott Snyder's JL run, but I read a neat single issue of Joker in Tomasi's run, and his appearances in Tynion's Batman: Their Dark Designs, Three Jokers, and King's use of Joker in his Batman run

I forgot, but Joker was great in Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen 😆

See, I like most of Bendis’ indie works and Event Leviathan. Personally I thought EV was better as a binge read. I disliked issue 1 but the rest was pretty decent. I’m wondering if his JL is going to pick up that storyline since his Checkmate book probably isn’t happening.

Really? I was hoping Event Leviathan: Checkmate would give a proper ending than the original Event Leviathan

While it was icky at some points, I really enjoyed the murder mystery, chase aspects of the series. And it was fun to see a bunch of characters interact. While there was plenty of bad, I thought there was more good to barely outweigh it. I like Bendis writing Ollie, it’s fun. Plus Alex Maleev on art is always a treat
