Steve dies. Again. That was pretty much her only characterization in the seventies and early eighties. Nothing new. I'm glad they went with the non-violent solution more like the Gods and Mortals arc rather than a slug fest, even though they did so with the subtlety of a sledgehammer.
There were some plot holes, but it was interesting to see the 80s being portrayed as the era of greed and excess rather than another masturbatory love letter from a late Gen X-er to their childhood. And much like Gaston is the scariest Disney villain because he can actually exist, power hungry con men are still around in this day and age.
The CGI Cheetah didn't bother me as much as the bad CGI running/flying scenes and the randomn slo-mo they also did in the first one. But noone has ever done superspeed running in a way that doesn't look totally goofy.
Even though he only played a small role, Simon Stagg was a nice surprise.
Didn’t even get to see it
This movie was trash. Not just from a comic book fan perspective. It wasn’t a well made movie, the pacing was bad, the plot was meh.m the writing was blah, did I mention the pacing? I get what the director was trying to do but it could have been done better. In my opinion
I absolutely agree! It was horrible
I was so excited to watch but after I just was disappointed. I am not even comparing to the first movie. It was so boring and the action scenes were meh
It was more character driven, and there were a lot of talky scenes. And let's be honest, Gal Gadot won't win an Oscar any time soon. But we've been conditioned into thinking that a finale needs to have a big fight.
I loved the finale, especially when a rendition of “Beautiful Lie” started playing. It almost made me tear up.
To be honest, the music was completely forgettable for me.
@Tupka217 The only good piece of music from the movie wasn't even in the movie.

Blue Monday '84. I agree, epic. I had hoped for it to appear.
Just like the Suicide Squad trailer used Ballroom Blitz and the movie went for the boring playlist of an emo who thinks he's into classic rock.
What do you think?
