I haven' t watched that, but...
I still don't know why nuclear missiles could spring out of thin air, but Steve had to take over another guy who got no say in any of it. Or maybe that guy's wish was boning Wonder Woman?
The scene at the beginning served no other use than giving some actors a paycheck.
It was great! I don't get why people hate it.
Because some people have watched a variety of movies in their lives and this pales in comparison.
I didn't walk out of it thinking "wth did I just watch?" like I did with Suicide Squad, TLJ, or Borat. But it wasn't a masterpiece. And Gal isn't a good actress. Special effects and action scenes were meh, music forgettable, definitely a downgrade compared to the first movie in those aspect. I actually liked that it didn't end in abig slugfest and nobody died.
And is it me or was alpha female Barbara.... not 80s enough? More hairspray, more neon, more shoulder pads. Not frizzy curls and an lbd.
Interesting question...just that an interesting question
I disliked it,a down grade from the original in every possible way.
I haven't seen the movie yet, but I found out Patty Jenkins directed WW and WW '84 but only wrote for '84. Could that be a possible reason for the drop in quality and a sign of things to come for future projects?
I'm not sure where you read that. She is the only director listed.
Patty Jenkins can improve though
There are three credited writers of which Patty was one. Even if she wrote the first draft and even if it was absolute dreck the other two writers, under the guidance of the producers, should have developed it into a better script. Film is a collaborative medium. Patty is not solely at fault. Everyone involved in the process is.
What do you think?
