Only because the characters remember everything now doesn't mean that they are in the other worlds/ a new one.

I thought with the combination of this, plus Doomsday Clock (Idk if that's even Canon) plus Superman Reborn it basically merged the 2 universes. But still, if they are 2 separate universes, what do they even remember? What is there to remember?

The old universes. They remember the old universes. Some characters have the same versions. Like Flash or Impulse.

No I understand that but if everyone in the universe remembers everything from the old universe, why act like the events didnt happen? I mean I get that you run into problems like Barr Tor and other characters that had slight changes, but that would have still been a problem regardless. Even though they are different universes, having those stories accounted for makes sense, as it happened to them, and they remember them. Idk, thats just my opinion tho.

death metal ending revealed that the events future state are being observed by the main universe Justice League, with each story occurring on its own separate Earth heck Martian Manhunter used the term elseworlds to describe the world's they're observing. Meaning there's no real point to reading future State since it's just elseworld with a different name.

Then there is no real point in reading the Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen, which both were revolutionary for the comic industry. You can still read Elseworlds story, because technically seen there isn't a real point in reading comics, watching TV shows and movies or playing Video Games.

Ya with that logic there's no point to reading anything, even if its in continuity. If its good, its good, read what you like. Plus, at least for a little while, these characters and plot threads will be put into main continuity like Red X and Yara Flor being Wonder Girl (Maybe?). Regardless if the characters remember events as happening to them, and we have actual books with those events, why do we not consider it one earth? I mean I get the in universe explanation but the post Flashpoint character pages should still have the stories in the old universe pages.
