Growing up my Dad used to watch DC movies or DC series all the time, so i basicly became a nerd at the age of 2 years old. I can't be the only one. Right...?

Nope my bio dad hates comics that aren’t Archie. And by Archie I mean old Archie because he’d be disgusted if he found out Kevin existed(yes my bio dads that crazy and old school) he’s pretty much condemns anything remotely superhero like ans thinks it’s childish.
My mom isn’t a comic reader but she like some of the films and shows. She hates Adam West As Batman, loves Keaton and likes Bale. She liked the reeves Superman film and thinks Smallville is And appreciates Black Lightning.
My comic love mostly came from the cartoons I watched as a kid and growing up with my older brother who used to read comics when he was a kid and that’s how I experienced most of the films. I read a few comics here and there as a kid but as a Preteen in when I really started to read them more frequently and collect Trades.
My dad figured if he couldn’t have a son that was into sports he would have a daughter that was into comics so I was basically raised by Batman the animated series, justice league unlimited, and some of the early MCU movies, this is definitely why I still love comic books
IDK I kinda developed on my own but most of it was from my dad showing me the stuff
I developed all of it on my own. I knew Superheroes from my cousins and stuff and I was obsessed with speed (hence my love for Flash). The first time I got into Superheroes on my own was watching Avengers: Infinity War in theaters. I was then obsessed with the MCU. After Endgame came out I rewatched the whole MCU about 3 times and watched the DCEU and the Dark Knight trilogy. Despise my love for the MCU I liked DC more even before watching the DCEU and the Dark Knight trilogy, I don't know why to be honest. I also watched Into the Spider-Verse in this time. Then I also watched Marvel's Daredevil, Marvel's Iron Fist and Marvel's The Defenders. I loved the character Daredevil and instantly fell in love with the show. He is my favourite Marvel character with Moon Knight and Ms Marvel. Then I went to watch The Flash show. I already had seen the first season and the first half of Season 2 with my little sister. I watched it and loved the character even more. I even liked Season 4-6 which are pretty meh. Then I watched a lot of videos about comics. Mostly from Variant Comics and later from a German Channel called 'teamcomics84'. I started then reading comics with the 'The Flash: A Celebration of 75 Years' hardcover. I then started reading the current series of the Flash ('The Flash (2016-)'). I didn't know the huge world that I had stepped into. And now I am a comic obsessed guy who reads a variety of comics. From series to One shots, from the Golden Age to the modern Age, and I love it.
I doubt my dad read comics as a kid. But my mom and I enjoy watching Marvel and DC movies together!
Me my dad is a total geek he’s the best!
My dads mainly into Star Wars which is where my nerd obsession began I guess. I got into comics when I was like 6 or something with Asterix, then Tintin and then 80s Superman and old Transformers comics but eventually I grew interested in Batman. Oh and he also has a lot of Phantom comics but I never got into those. So yeah, since hes a star wars fan and comicbook fan he helped me get into comics. We did start watching superhero movies more with Avengers tho although my dad didnt really like Marvel movies or the mcu in general til Infinity War lol. Other than Winter Soldier. That ones just too good. And ofc I didnt watch Dark Knight with him at the time although I did secretly manage to watch it when I was 12 and got freaked out.
My parents dont like movies with Aliens and stuff. They like normal sci-fi movies though.
My parents were never into comics, but I’d always watch superhero and Star Wars movies with them. Well mostly my mom, but also my Dad, but neither of them are anywhere near as interested in movies or comics as I am.
