Can I link his DeviantArt page so people can look at his art?
If it were strictly up to me, I’d say yes. But because I’m not entirely sure where this falls on the guidelines scale, I’m thinking we shouldn’t. But keeping your comment saying it’s on DeviantArt should be fine, for now.
What about in the Off-Topic thread?
A perfect place for it, yes.
Does he still tell everyone that his take will be published? He was all "DC like my unique and non-woke pitch" after he got booted off the Wonder Wonder variant gig for a (honestly, fairly mild) panty shot.
I’m not sure. I haven’t really read his comments/captions to know anything about his online persona and his personality traits. All I’ve seen is his art. I had hoped he’d be chill, so learning he was at least once upon a time not-so-chill disappoints me a bit.
Nope. That was Frank Cho, not Phil Cho. My bad.
Cool, I’ll choose to believe Phil is chill then.
Same. And maybe Frank has chilled by now too.
Roysovitch is the one that came with the Earth-27 concept. Phil provided the art. Phil is a commission artist mostly.
They started just coming up with villains in prison clothes. Roysovitch is (or was) a prison guard. Then it evolved into coming up with what they consider the best representation from all the media and iterations available for characters.
Like for Earth-27, the Oliver Queen is a mirror of the one from the Arrowverse. The Joker was the one from the Dark Knight (Nolanverse). But eventually they started showing and including other iterations of the same characters.
I think that the YJ Files Podcast (Whelmed) made an episode and that’s from where I got more of the information from.
What do you think?
