Clarify: When you mean magic-users, do you mean characters can cast spells or otherwise will an ability through magic like Zatanna or Constantine, or do you mean characters who are empowered by magic like Shazam or Wonder Woman (Diana could technically be classified as divinely empowered, but since Black Alice is able to steal her powers, her power source must fall under the umbrella of “magic”)?

I believe you need to narrow it down by specifying one or the other.

Merlin was a glass cannon consistently in The Demon mythos throughout NE. By the end of Vol 3 he had been stripped of his powers. His greatness was also heavily reliant on the Eternity Book.

The OP never mentioned Constantine and you should avoid making more spelling mistakes while clarifying a former spelling mistake.
