Homo Magi?
This is not a term that comes up in adaptations often, so I wondered, how do you say it in your head? Madgy? MA-gee? May-gee?

Maj-eye.
Like the Three Magi, for example. That’s the most common English pronunciation.
Edit:
“Meh-jahy.” Is the pronunciation on the dictionary app.
/ˈɔmo ˈmaʤi/
Hmm. I'm "Homo MAgee" myself. Binomials are latin.
Yeah same. The "homo magi" name is the "scientific" name for that kind of human species. So it's like "homo sapiens", it should be pronounced in latin.
And furthermore, I'm Italian so the pronunciation of latin and italian is identical in 99.9% of the cases.
No, not really. It has its uses, but not here.
