See just because both have zombies doesn’t mean it’s a ripoff. Does that mean Walking dead comics is a ripoff from old school Zombie movies? Of course not.
The only difference is that Marvel Zombies was bad, but DCeased actually is quite good since it’s a unique take on Zombies where it isn’t a viral pathogen but rather anti life equation being spread through technology, while having unpredictable events in the story and not necessarily a happy outcome for the heroes
Boooooooooooooooo
Meh, DCeased still hit all the stereotypes. But "anyone can die" appeals to enough people to keep churning these out. Futures End failed, so they did DCeased instead.
I just wanted to hear opinions, I just voted yes to see the results.
When I saw DCeased as a universe were infected with a "Zombie Virus" that apparently affected mostly super-heroes I saw it a little fishy so I wanted to see how fans think about it.
By that logic Marvel Zombies ripped off Walking Dead and Walking Dead ripped off the tons of zombie movies before it
@I am Batman01 It's not a "Zombie Virus that affected mostly superheroes" though, it's literally a mutated version of the Anti-Life equation affecting most of Earth's populace. It's not a virus.
False.
Zombie stories were not invented by Marvel.
This takes me back to that "Twilight" fan who thought Stephanie Meyer was the one who came up with the werewof myth.
Can you tell us more about that Twilight fan? They sound entertaining.
A Twilight fan thought Universal's movie "Wolfman" was a "New Moon" rip-off, and was deeply offended about the "plagiarism" and about werewolves looking like "rabid dogs".
It was ten years ago, so it is hard to find now. But I have found a link:
