None of them are in the next game’s leaked roster or they are replaced with some alternative counter parts which sucks (for me atleast), as some of them are my go to picks in online matches.

To be honest if it turns out to be true I’m half not surprised as they were replacement fillers for few characters from Injustice 1 which in turn understandable for injustice 3. On the other hand it did kind of leave a question mark as some of the character’s move sets seemed to be quite nice for the next gen systems game engine and seemed like potential staple characters.

I should probably point it out in this post as well that there is an Injustice film that releases three days after the event begins. He could just be there for that. Anson Mount, who portrays Bruce Wayne / Batman in the film, will be there as well.

Oh, I know. I just wanted to make sure to share that for anyone who didn't know. I don't want people to get their hopes up to high and be upset. Being hopeful is good. I just wanted to spare people from getting their feelings hurt by it.

It is definitely possible that we'll see the game there. I just wanted to be safe.

Fair enough that’s quite considerate of you

Thank you. I just saw a rumor recently that their next game would be another Mortal Kombat, but at the same time, as said above, there are tons of rumors about an Injustice 3. I definitely do agree that if it were to be announced this year, it would mostly likely be at DC FanDome 2021.

Either way, we're sure to get a ton of looks and announcements about DC projects to keep a lot of fans happy and excited for the future. Who knows what surprises are in store?

I don’t think it’s MK12 as the dlc characters and story dlc just released last year. IF it does end up being MK video game related and not another Animated film like the scorpion one, Then it will likely be a Year 2 dlc season of new guest characters (since some leaked MK11 characters never appeared entirely).

But I’m confident there’s atleast two more years till we hear MK related news, as NRS will be likely carefully revamping the game with next gen engine mechanics/story and that will take time.

A valid point. Also, with the film coming out very soon, a new game announcement would likely help bring attention to it as well and get fans eager for both the film and a new game. It'll be interesting to see what they do.
