I don't know, there's "grounded and realistic" and then there's "looks like a cheap old horror movie"
And this is leaning towards that a fair bit.
As grounded and realistic as a psychopathic killer comically obsessed with riddles can be, to set up a defining M.O is a better explanation I guess
This movie is gonna be a massive hit
The contrast between this Riddler and the Jim Carrey Riddler is amazing and I love it. Interpretations of these characters are so vast and unique.
It's an early appearance. Riddler could start wearing a more comic-accurate look in the future.
Regarding the second image, Jorge Jimenez posted this yesterday. If it was intentional, then it's a really cool homage.
But most of the villains in the first batman movies die at the end so there is quite a bit of chance that Riddler won't make to the sequel
Let's hope this movie doesn't hold to those cliches.
Apparently when Matt Reeves was working on the movie, he took inspiration from the Zodiac Killer when he was writing Riddler.
That makes sense, the first thing I thought about when I saw this riddler was Zodiac killer ^
He also took inspiration from Seven.
What do you think?
