On DC, of course. I don't really like Jim Lee, but David Marquez and Dan Mora. And now, yours is...?

Something unconventional for me. I like Cliff Chiang's work as well as Mike Allred's work
Just today at my comic shop, I saw Chiang's (along with writer Brian Vaughn) complete work on Paper Girls in a single trade. I gotta get that someday
You don’t like Jim Lee how come? His art like Tupka mentioned defined the 90’s and is among the first person that comes to mind when I think of Batman’s iconic artists.
Well Jim Lee kinda draws the characters TOO muscular for me.
Jim Lee is not the first thing that comes to mind with Batman (not even top 5) and Batman is not the first thing that comes to mind with Jim Lee (not even top 5)
Interesting but I guess that’s fair enough and understandable, his art in hush and detective comics Batman runs for years is something I like to look at ^^
^^ I kinda disagree with that, he is one of the most well known people to be linked with DC Comics and more specifically with Batman in mainstream comic culture.
Lee, Alan Moore, Frank Miller, Greg Capullo among others are just a list of people that got “mainstream” notoriety for their art or creative involvement in DC comics. Lee being mainly associated and known for his Batman work is common knowledge among the average enthusiast
I can’t narrow it down to 1 artist. Among my favorites are George Perez, Jose Luis García López, Jack Kirby (an acquired taste), Neal Adams, Alex Ross, Jason Fabok, JR Jr (another acquired taste).
Jamal Campbell, easily. Laura Braga is nice too.
George Perez,Jason Fabok, Dan Mora, Jim Lee, Dave Gibbons, Francis Manapaul, Greg Capullo, Gary Frank, Alex Ross, Dave Mazuchelli (Batman Year One) and Jim Aparo are some artists that I really visually enjoy.
As chunky as this list is, I’m definitely forgetting about others I like. But these are some I could think of.
Jorge Jimenez (paired with the colors of Alejandro Sanchez or Tomeu Morey), Greg Capullo, Dave Gibbons, Jason Fabok, Rafael Sandoval, Ethan Van Sciver, Doug Mahnke... I could continue and say something about each of them, but I'll drop it here.
Regarding Jim Lee... He's great. Hush was one of the first Batman comics I read, and it stunned me with its art. Even before knowing his name, I used to copy his drawings when I was beginning with art. However, there's something I don't like about him and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's the way he shades the characters with too much black or too much cross-hatching.
