What did you think about Shazam! (2021) mini-series?
What did you think about Shazam! (2021) mini-series?
I loved this plot but some parts, like Black Adam, were a bit confusing.
Great, I especially loved when Eugene said Hadouken!
Wait that was the movie?
While focusing on Shazam the most, the title truly read as if the issues were part of the Teen Titans Academy ongoing title, as that comic series already has some of the students group up at times to be the center of attention for a storyline. So this one starred Billy and Dane/Nevermore. I really loved how Tim Sheridan used this mini to expand upon Dane, who’d previously barely gotten attention, and I look forward to TTA #11 when Nevermore becomes the star of the storyline about his dark inheritance. The mini also touched upon story elements from the possible future that Future State showed, hence “Teddy” and the Unkindness and all that.
Is it just me or do the covers look like he's slowly descending through different layers of Hell?
I don’t know about layers, but the story largely literally takes place in hell.
Oh hey, I'm psychic.
It was an interesting one to read and I really want to know what happens with Shazam and Black Adam jr after this, so i hope they give us an actual Shazam book in the coming year instead of making us following their story in a justice league book or another mini series or spin off.
... I've just realised they're almost like Bill and Ted. 🤣😂
