Less creative conflict, better presentation, a more approachable tone, better writing.
More independent films before the Team Film. Also, anyone but Zack Snyder to direct it, like Fate said. Although I'll admit ZSJL set up something interesting, if not as successful as the MCU.
If they did it before the MCU. By trying to replicate the MCU model they were already on the back foot because they would always be compared to the predecessor. To make it worse they tried to rush a team film before audiences had even meet some of the protagonists, and those that had were not very likeable.
I think the main problem was that the mcu has already been around for 5 years and had their big team up movie and instead of taking their time they rushed the plots and characters and rushing to the team up
Man of steel was alright, it presented a more young and conflicted superman (who kills for some reason, not a fan of that) but batman v superman should not have been the second film in the DCEU. Five seprate movies can easily be made from what was crammed into those 3 hours. More build up leading to justice league is also another thing which should have been done and the most important thing which should have been taken care of was not to copy Marvel and what they were doing. Marvel was 9 years into their vision for the MCU when civil war was created, everyone watching knew iron man and captain America didn't do thing the same way, that conflict was bound to happen, as for us we didn't even see batman before he started killing or the moment when robin died, we just saw batman murdering criminals because they were in the way when he wanted that kryptonite.
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!!
(And btw, I dont hate ZS, I love his movies, but this was so hilariously...... cringey? that.... "WOW" is all i could say)
Man of Steel has some redeeming qualities but already misses the core of Superman. It's downhill from there, though it was never at the top of the hill.
I would actually not trust too much on one director. As we saw with Snyder, one director with a vision leaves very little room for any other directors, and should have been recognized as the first sign of trouble.
Not copying Marvel and focusing on their own thing.
Better world building and interconnectivity.
More creative freedom.
2 things: patience, and literally anyone other than zack snyder.
What do you think?
