Hes only called Mongul 3 because he's the third Mongul we see in the DC Universe, but his actual name would still be the same, and same for the father. Now his grandfather, the first Mongul we saw, would be called whatever number was before the previous one

@Legionaire315 Mongul III/MDCCXCII is the one who killed the previous Mongul who is once again Mongul II from Pre-Flashpoint.

@Anotherbatmanfan yes precisely. The wiki currently marks him as the new version of Pre-Flashpoint Mongul II however, which is the problem. Post-Death Metal/Infinite Frontier, both previous Monguls are restored to continuity, and this is an entirely new Mongul.

He should've never been labeled Mongul 2 anyway given its been established the Mongul we saw in PE first was the same as the Yellow Lantern one from NE, which is the 2nd one.
