The first six issues of the boys were published under wildstorm which is an imprint of DC. Now, DC comics were uneasy with the anti-superhero tone of this series so they gave the rights of the characters to the writers and cancelled the comic. The same writers then went on to continue the series under Dynamite Entertainment.

• There was no The Boys Wiki yet. The url for theboys.fandom.com was taken by an unrelated, abandoned personal project. The Image Database had no content. Someone had to do it.

• Even now the-boys.fandom.com exists, it primarily covers the tv show, not the comic.

• It brings us quite a bit of traffic still so since it's technically sorta DC, removing it would not be in our best interest in terms of SEO.
