It's not a decision I've reached, it's a question for a debate. Is kryptonite still necessary as a weakness for superman? He already has other weaknesses like red sunlight or magic and in recent years superman has been depowered quite significantly, so much so that even other heroes and villains can hurt him without even using any of his "weaknesses", that's why I presented the question.
