When comics tackle tough subjects like pedophilia they need to do it respectfully, not just some random throwaway thing like this. Also lets not forget how poorly Terra and Slade has aged...

Duela Dent originally appeared as Joker’s Daighter. She joined the Teen Titans during the original incarnation and immediately changed her name and costume to her Harlequin identity. As Harlequin, Duela was sane but pretended to be wacko, like the original take on Creeper.

Post-Crisis, her psychoses were more legitimate. Her membership on the original incarnation of Teen Titans was removed, with a later comic showing she was instead an ally to Titans West (but not member). She was a more neutral character, going with the flow of whomever wanted her on their side. She liked performing heroics, but she’d act out when she felt rejected. Ultimately, when she died pre-Flashpoint, the Titans held a service for her because they considered her one of them, even if they had to fight her when she was having a crazy spell.

PE Duela came off as too evil too soon. I hated it. I hated early PE Duela as much as I hated N52 Jericho, which was also an atrocious spin on an established character. I’m glad Duela recuperated and reformed.

I like Brian Michael Bendis' work on YJ and JL. Same with current GL run.

I’m sure that was a joking way of sharing your opinion, but I know many people didn’t like how he handled Bart, Cassie, Conner or Tim.

I know that Bendis did away with all the development their characters had before new 52 removed them from existence but at least he bought them back.

I agree on less A listers in the JL, but can we please permanently keep Batman off the JL? Like even ignoring I dont like most JL comics Ive read, Batman being on the team has always led to him being treated very poorly and he just doesnt click with the rest of the team. Writers always try very hard to fit him into a certain smart loner asshole archetype and nothing more. Just like how Captain America in most Avengers books is a self righteous prick unlike in his own comics. Would probably also help with pushing him back down to a more street level hero.

Also Damian doesnt need dark skinned. Hes not even fully middle eastern and even then middle easterners arent all brown. We literally have a user on this wiki who is light skinned and middle eastern. Hell, even Cleopatra was actually light skinned contrary to what some people claim now was whitewashing.
