Wallace is really growing on me more and more. I love Wally, but I believe like my feelings on Wally as Flash were stronger than my feelings on Wally as Kid Flash. Wallace may be the one I prefer as Kid Flash over Wally. Now, I love Bart as the whimsical Impulse, but his development as Kid Flash was excellent. Johns established him as still being fun-loving but while knowing that heroics aren’t a game and that he should take things seriously when the situation demands it. I found that to be solid character growth, even if rambunctious Bart was fun to read. It’s hard for me to choose between Wallace and Bart, but I could see Wallace edging Bart out over time for me.
