Yes, I absolutely agree with you! More often than not they mistake pessimism with realism, one of Superman's most endearing qualities is that he looks at the most darkest of the situations and he sees light and that is what he makes others see too. That's the message! And they have completely missed the point in recent superman adaptations.

Except for in Superman and Lois, that show is brilliant.

This will be the last movie that remains in the world because I have given my copy a deep freeze to preserve it for future generations.

Not with global warming it won't.
