To what @Dr Osterman 86 said, I recommend you check out the new DC animated universe movies (after having watched the DCAMU movies though). It's Superman: Man of Tomorrow, Batman: The Long Halloween Part 1, Justice Society: WW2 and Batman: The Long Halloween Part 2.

You'll notice that Batman: the Long Halloween movies are similar to The Batman, in some ways, and that's because they're inspired by the comic book by the same title.

Okay okay noted. I’m Almost done with the DCAU (fell asleep on the end of reign of supermen. Now I have 3 left and I’ll start with those. Thanks guys. Ima squeeze the shit out of these DC movies on HBO Max lol

Someone already said this, but I totally think you should watch Batman: the Animated Series. I recently just finished watching it and I 100% recommend. You can also watch it’s sequel movies Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (which I thought was pretty good but it was also kinda dark) and Batman and Mr. Freeze: Subzero (which I haven’t watched yet).
