Yeah, I can't even call it a robin suit, it's clearly the new 52 nightwing suit.

The Batman & Robin suit could almost count as a Nightwing suit instead, except I don't think he was ever referred to as that in movie.

The Titans Dick Grayson suit is my favorite I think, as bad as that show is the costumes mostly look amazing.

What exactly were they thinking when they decided to put nipples on those suits? What was the point? Were they going to shoot lasers from there? Was it going to be a bat-nipple laser which was scrapped in development but it was too late so the nipples still remained?

Well, both genders of human naturally sport nipples on their chest. It probably was meant to have Batman look more organic to criminals.

Oh, that makes sense. I usually also think of black rubbery plastic when I think of organic materials, the nipples really do make it look even more natural.

I think it was just the next natural step. First they gave it weird rubber muscles, and now they give it nipples too.
