Joker also had various designs throughout Gotham aside from Mr. J. Such as Jeremiah Valeska and Jerome.

Keep in mind Jeremiah nor Jerome isn’t the Joker. They weren’t even allowed to mention Joker on the show.

They both gave rise and influence to who he would be with Mr. J being the finished character by the end of it all.
